Power on/off When shooting pictures 1 Press the tabs on the lens cap as indicated by the arrows and remove the lens cap. 1 Getting started 2 Turn the mode dial until the mode you want to use is aligned with the red line. Choose from / Mode dial 3 Turn the power switch so that ON is aligned with the white line. • The camera turns on and the lens extends. • If the lens cap has not been removed, the warning beep sounds and the camera does not turn on. Be sure to remove the lens cap first. Power switch 4 To turn the power off, turn the power switch so that OFF is aligned with the white line. 31
