Glossary of terms TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) An uncompressed format used for saving highly detailed black and white or color image data. TIFF image files can be handled by software programs for scanners and graphics applications. TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Color Monitor A color monitor constructed using thin-film technology. TTL (Through-The-Lens) System To help adjust exposure, a light receptor built into the camera directly measures the light passing through the lens. TTL-AUTO For use with an external flash.
