To record still pictures clearly ≥ While recording motion pictures or during the PRE-REC operation, the following arrangements are applied so that motion picture recording takes preference over still picture recording. For vivid still pictures, we recommend pausing motion picture recording and taking still pictures after releasing the PRE-REC mode. jImage quality is different from ordinary still pictures. jPressing the button halfway is disabled. jThe remaining usable capacity (number of pictures that can be taken) indication does not appear. ≥ You can record stable pictures without shaking by using a tripod and the remote control. (When a remote control is used, pressing the button halfway is disabled.) ≥ For information about the number of recordable still pictures (l 45) ≥ The sound cannot be recorded while recording still pictures. ≥ The edges of still pictures recorded on this unit with a 16:9 aspect ratio may be cut at printing.
