3) ABOUT THE INFRARED INDEX co 15 5 ft m 28 35 1051 PEKIAXIMID5 It 41,r44.in721 N :00 00 0 GJ When an infrared film and an "R2" or "O2" filter are used, the focal point is different from that when ordinary film (exposed in visible light) is used. The autofocus system cannot compensate for this difference automatically. After focusing on the subject as usual, set the focus mode switch to [MANUAL] and turn the focusing ring to the left by the distance indicated on the infrared index. As shown in the illustration, if 28 is read from the zoom scale, adjust the distance scale to 28 on the infrared index (red line). * To set the proper exposure level for infrared pictures, refer to the instructions accompanying the film. The Programmed AE mode does not give a correct exposure. Use the Manual mode.
