® Using the image size tracking mode When you set up a composition through the viewfinder and store the image size (magnification value) in the camera, the lens automatically zooms to maintain this image size (magnification value) regardless of the distance to the subject. For example, you can shoot a child moving towards you or away from you without a change in the image size. • Using a Pentax function, you can make the lens zoom out for a full-length shot of a person or zoom in for a waist-up shot. (See page 91.) You can store a new image size in the camera regardless of the Pentax function setting. (This image size is cleared when the main switch is set at 0 ].)
