SELECTING UTILITY STITCH PATTERN Utility stitches are indicated in the pattern chart located inside of the top cover. Select utility stitch pattern as follows: 1. On the Home screen, touch the Utility button. First 18 patterns will be indicated on the LCD. (Stitch selection mode) 2. Touch the scroll down button, next 18 patterns will appear. By touching the scroll up or down button, you can scroll up or down in increments of 18 patterns. 3. Touch the desired pattern directly. 4. When pattern is selected, LCD will indicate the information of selected pattern. (Stitch information mode) STITCH INFORMATION a. Stitch Pattern The shape of stitch pattern will change according to the setting of stitch length, width, mirror/reverse and elongation. b. Pattern Number c. Thread Tension Button (See page 40) d. Recommended Presser Foot Indicated presser foot is one of suggested foot for normal sewing. You can use other presser foot according to the purpose of sewing described in this booklet. e. Tack Button (See page 46) f. Mirror/reverse Button When this button appears, you can select mirror stitch, reverse stitch or mirror/reverse stitch. Touching this button, stitch will flip from left to right or from front to back. The icon on the button indicates the selected stitch as follows: i. Regular stitch (normal stitch) ii. STITCH PATTERN
Utility stitches are indicated in the pattern chart
located inside of the top cover. Select utility stitch
pattern as follows:
1. On the Home screen, touch the Utility button.
First 18 patterns will be indicated on the LCD.

2. Touch the scroll down button, next 18 patterns
will appear.
By touching the scroll up or down button, you
can scroll up or down in increments of 18
patterns.
3. Touch the desired pattern directly.
4. When pattern is selected, LCD will indicate the
information of selected pattern.

When this button appears, you can select mirror
stitch, reverse stitch or mirror/reverse stitch.
Touching this button, stitch will
