The spot metering cross hair appears. 60min 101 VGA FINE [ 96] 640 30f [00:10:48] Spot metering cross hair Shooting three images with the exposure shifted PHOTO - Exposure Bracket The Exposure Bracket function records a series of three images with the exposure values automatically shifted. This lets you select the image with the appropriate exposure after recording when you are unable to shoot good pictures depending on the brightness of the subject. 1st image (shifted in the + direction) m 2nd image (appropriate exposure for the camera) m 3rd image (shifted in the- direction) To cancel spot metering Press B ( ) again to turn spot metering off. The spot metering cross hair disappears, and the camera returns to multipattern metering. • When using spot metering, to focus on the metering position, setting 9 (Focus) to [Center AF] is recommended (page 57). 62 Before operation Set (Camera) in the menu to other than [Auto] (pages 53 and 113).
