Use it as a guide. • If you point the lens up or down, the error increases. • If focus preset value flashes with [0.5m] selected, press the zoom W button until the value stops flashing. 46 Adjusting the exposure - EV adjustment Mode selector: / Used when you want to change the automatic exposure to one of your own choice. The value can be set a range from +2.0EV to -2.0EV, in 1/3EV increments. Before operation When shooting still images, set (Camera) to any mode other than [Auto] in the menu settings (page 23). Make your adjustment while confirming the brightness of the background of the subject on the LCD screen. To return to auto adjust mode Return the exposure adjustment value to 0EV. • When the subject is extremely bright or extremely dark, or when you are using the flash, the adjustment may not work.
