PREVENTIVE CHECKS AND SERVICE INTERVALS The following standard table depends on environmental conditions and usage. Parts replacing time does not mean the life span for individual parts. Also, long term storage or misuse may cause transformation and aging of rubber parts. The following list means standard hours, so the checking hours depends on the conditions. Clean the rubber, and parts which the rubber touches. Replace when rolling becomes abnormal. Clean the Head : Clean : Check it and if necessary, replace it. CONFIRMATION OF HOURS USED PLAY/REC total hours can be checked on the screen. Total hours are displayed in 16 system of notation. NOTE: If you set a factory initialization, the total hours is reset to "0". 1. Connect the set to TV Monitor. 2. Turn on the POWER. 3. Press both CH UP button on the set and the FF button on the set for more than 2 seconds. The Fig. 1 screen will appear on TV Monitor. 4. After the confirmation of using hours, turn off the power.
