When volume mute is enabled, no sound will come from the speakers or headphones. Lock (Instant security) This TOSHIBA Function key activates instant security. The user logon screen will appear and a user with a valid account will need to log back on to gain access to the computer. Power plan This TOSHIBA Function key displays the currently selectable power plans and cycles through the power plans. The properties of each power plan, and the power plans that are displayed by this function, are set in the Power Options window (see "Power Plans" on page 89). This TOSHIBA function key also allows you to enable notifications for power plans. The notifications are disabled by default. Sleep mode This TOSHIBA Function key places the computer into Sleep mode.
