The stereo master signal can be monitored via the MONITOR A or MONITOR B output simply by engaging the corresponding [ON] switch and adjusting the [LEVEL] control as required. If the [2TR IN 1] or [2TR IN 2] switch is then engaged the monitor source will be switched to the corresponding 2-track input. Cue monitoring occurs when any channel or master [CUE] switch is engaged (cue monitoring takes priority over 2track input monitoring). Monitor Signal Normal Operation Stereo master. [2TR IN 1/2] Engaged 2-track input. [CUE] Engaged Cue NOTE If the console is set up so that the stereo master signal is not normally output (see page 67), only the cue signals will appear at the MONITOR outputs. The monitor out section controls output to the consoles two monitor outputs (MONITOR A & B OUT) as well as to the headphone jacks. NOTE A monitor delay function is provided to allow a delay to be applied to the monitor and headphone outputs for time alignment between the sound from the main house and monitor speakers. 40

Monitor Control Section
Monitor Source
The monitor out section controls output to the consoles
two monitor outputs (MONITOR A & B OUT) as well
as to the headphone jacks.
Three sources can be selected for monitoring: the stereo
master signal, input from the 2-track inputs (2TR IN 1 &
2), and CUE. The stereo master signal can be monitored
via the MONITOR A or MONITOR B output simply by
engaging the corresponding [ON] switch and adjusting
the [LEVEL] control as required. If the [2TR IN 1] or
[2TR IN 2] switch is then engaged the monitor source
will be switched to the corresponding 2-track input. Cue
monitoring occurs when any channel or master [CUE]
switch is engaged (cue monitoring takes priority over 2-
track input monitoring).
