ZyXEL P-336M User's Guide Table 28 Tools: Admin LABEL DESCRIPTION Gateway Name Enter a descriptive name (up to 32 characters) for your P-336M. This is for identification purposes only. Enable Remote Management Remote management allows you to allow access to the P-336M web configurator from the WAN. Select this option to activate this feature. Clear this check box to disable this feature. Remote Admin Port Specify the port number of the embedded web server on the P-336M for accessing the web configurator. Enter a port number to access the web configurator. If you enter a number other than 80, you need to append the port number to the WAN port IP address to access the web configurator. For example, if you enter "8080" as the web server port number, then you must enter "http://10.10.1.1:8080" where 10.10.1.1 is the WAN port IP address. Remote Admin Inbound Filter Select a filter action on the traffic. Select You can configure filter actions in the Inbound Filter screen. Admin Idle Timeout Specify how many minutes the web configuration can be left idle before the session times out. After it times out you have to log in with your username and password again. Very long idle timeouts may have security risks. UPNP Enable UPNP Select this option to activate this feature. Save and Restore Configuration Restore Configuration From File You can restore a previously save configuration file to the P-336M. Enter the name of the configuration file or click Browse to locate it and click Restore Configuration From File to start the file upload process. Save Configuration Click Save Configuration to save the current device configuration to your computer. Cancel Click Cancel to start configuring this screen again. 5.1.4 Configuration Backup Note: Do not turn off the P-336M while the file transfer process is taking place. Configuration Backup
Note:
Do not turn off the P-336M while the file transfer process is taking place.
Follow the steps below to back up the current configuration of the P-336M.

In the web configurator, click
Tools > Admin
(see
Figure 30 on page 67
).

Scroll to the bottom of the
ADMIN
screen and click
Save Configuration
.
