Table 31 Tools: E-mail LABEL DESCRIPTION Enable Email Settings Select Enable Email Notification to activate this feature. From Email Address To Email Address Enter an e-mail as the sender. Enter the e-mail address to which notifications are sent. SMTP Server Address SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the message-exchange standard for the Internet. SMTP enables you to move messages from one e-mail server to another. Enter the IP address (in dotted decimal notation) of the mail server. Enable Authentication Account Name Password Select the check box to activate SMTP authentication. If mail server authentication is needed but this feature is disabled, you will not receive the e-mail logs. Enter the user name (up to 31 characters) (usually the user name of a mail account). Enter the password associated with the user name above. Verify Password Email Log When Full or On Schedule Enter the password again for verification. Chapter 5 Tools 74
