Chapter 14 Firewall 14.2 The Firewall Screen Use this screen to configure the Device's basic firewall settings including permitting or dropping traffic traveling in specific directions between specific security zones. Click Security > Firewall to display the General screen. Figure 99 Security > Firewall > General The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 73 Security > Firewall > General LABEL Firewall From, To DESCRIPTION Select Enable to activate the firewall feature on the Device or Disable to deactivate it. Select the Permit check box to allow traffic traveling from one specific security zone to another. Clear the Permit check box to drop traffic traveling from one specific security zone to another. Apply Cancel Select Log to have the Device log when it performs the selected action on the traffic traveling between the two zones. To see the logs, select the Firewall checkbox under Maintenance > Log Settings > Security. Click Apply to save your changes. Click Cancel to restore your previously saved settings. 14.3 The Service Screen You can configure customized services and port numbers in the Service screen.
