CHAPTER 33 E-mail Notification 33.1 Overview A mail server is an application or a computer that runs such an application to receive, forward and deliver e-mail messages. To have the Device send reports, logs or notifications via e-mail, you must specify an e-mail server and the e-mail addresses of the sender and receiver. 33.2 The Email Notification Screen Click Maintenance > Email Notification to open the Email Notification screen. Use this screen to view, remove and add mail server information on the Device. Figure 149 Maintenance > Email Notification The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 121 Maintenance > Email Notification LABEL DESCRIPTION Add New Email Click this button to create a new entry. Mail Server Address This field displays the server name or the IP address of the mail server. Username This field displays the user name of the sender's mail account. Password This field displays the password of the sender's mail account. Email Address This field displays the e-mail address that you want to be in the from/sender line of the e-mail that the Device sends. Remove Click this button to delete the selected entries.
