Chapter 46 IPv6 Cache 46.6 Default Router List Click Management > IPv6 Cache in the navigation panel and then the Default Router link to open this screen. Use this screen to view IPv6 addresses of on-link routers that will help forward packets. Figure 234 IPv6 Cache > Default Router List The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 173 IPv6 Cache > Default Router List LABEL DESCRIPTION In-band/Out-of-band This is the Switch's interface through which a router can be reached. Index This is the index number of the entry. Address This is the IPv6 address of the router. preference This is the preference level (High, Medium or Low) of the router. If more than one reachable router has the same preference level (High), the routers are selected in a round-robin fashion. lifetime This displays how long (in seconds) the address can be used before it expires. expire This displays how long (in seconds) the entry is retained in the cache. flag This displays whether hosts should use DHCPv6 to obtain stateful addresses (M, Managed address configuration) or additional configuration settings (O, Other stateful configuration), such as DNS information.
