Chapter 8 Basic Setting 8.2 System Information In the navigation panel, click Basic Setting > System Info to display the screen as shown. You can check the firmware version number and monitor the Switch temperature, fan speeds and voltage in this screen. Figure 36 Basic Setting > System Info The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 10 Basic Setting > System Info LABEL DESCRIPTION System Name This field displays the descriptive name of the Switch for identification purposes. ZyNOS F/W Version This field displays the version number of the Switch 's current firmware including the date created. Modem Code F/ This field displays the version number of the VDSL chip firmware used in the Switch. W Version Ethernet Address This field refers to the Ethernet MAC (Media Access Control) address of the Switch. Power Module This field displays Dual when the Switch supports both AC and DC power input. Otherwise, it displays AC or DC when the corresponding power module is connected and detected. 1st F/W Version This field displays the version number of the currently installed firmware on the first flash memory. 2nd F/W Version This field displays the version number of the currently installed firmware on the second flash memory. Hardware Monitor Temperature Unit The Switch has temperature sensors that are capable of detecting and reporting if the temperature rises above the threshold. You may choose the temperature unit (Centigrade or Fahrenheit) in this field. Temperature BOARD, MAC and PHY refer to the location of the temperature sensors on the Switch printed circuit board. 74 VES1724-56 User's Guide
