The switch combines the bridge priority value with the system ID extension (the ID of the MISTP instance) to create the bridge ID priority. You can set 16 possible bridge priority values: 0, 4096, 8192, 12,288, 16,384, 20,480, 24,576, 28,672, 32,768, 36,864, 40,960, 45,056, 49,152, 53,248, 57,344, and 61,440. To configure the bridge ID priority for an MISTP instance, perform this task in privileged mode: Step 1 Step 2 Task Configure the bridge ID priority for an MISTP instance. Verify the bridge ID priority.
