To disable VTP using the off mode, perform this task in privileged mode: Step 1 Step 2 Task Disable VTP using the off mode. Verify the VTP configuration. Command set vtp mode off show vtp domain This example shows how to disable VTP using the off mode: Console> (enable) set vtp mode off Changing VTP mode for all features VTP3 domain server modified Note Because there is only the VLAN database in release 8.1(1), using the above example without specifying the vlan keyword results in the same configuration as using the vlan keyword.
