A-8 Regulatory Compliance Notices Battery Replacement Notice Your computer is provided with a 3-volt lithium coin cell battery powered Real-Time Clock circuit. There is a danger of explosion and risk of personal injury if the battery is incorrectly replaced or mistreated. Replacement is to be done by a Compaq Authorized Service Provider using the Compaq spare designated for this product. For more information about Real-Time Clock battery replacement or proper disposal, contact your Compaq Authorized Reseller or your Authorized Service Provider. The computer contains a 3-volt lithium coin cell battery. Replacement of the internal battery should be done by a Compaq Authorized Service Provider. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not attempt to recharge the battery, disassemble it, immerse it in water, or dispose of it in fire. WARNING: Your computer contains an internal lithium-ion battery. There is risk of fire and burns if the battery is not handled properly. Replace only with the Compaq spare designated for this product. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water. Do not expose to temperatures higher than 60°C. Batteries, battery packs, and accumulators should not be disposed of together with the general household waste. In order to forward them to recycling or proper disposal, please use the public collection system or return them to Compaq, your authorized Compaq Partners, or their agents.
