See "Installing an Expansion Card" on page 72. 8 Connect a power cable to the drive. See Figure 3-6. 9 Connect the interface cable to the drive and to the appropriate connector on the system board or controller card (if applicable). NOTE: See the documentation that is included with the controller card for more information. If you are installing an IDE device (such as an optical drive), connect the interface cable to the IDE device and the IDE connector on the system board. See Figure 3-7.
