Cleaning the printer WARNING: To avoid an electric shock, make sure that the printer is switched OFF and disconnected from the mains supply before you clean it. Do not let water get inside the printer. CAUTION: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the printer. NOTE: Any maintenance or repairs beyond those described in this chapter should be done by a qualified service technician. Cleaning the printer's exterior Clean the outside of the printer as required with a damp sponge or a soft cloth and a mild household cleaner such as non-abrasive liquid soap.
