Receiving a Distress Relay call
When a Distress Relay call is received:
The emergency alarm sounds until you turn it OFF.
“Received Distress Relay” is displayed.
1. Push
Alarm Off
to turn OFF the alarm.
When “Accept after 10 sec.” or “Ignore after 10
sec.” is selected in the CH Auto Switch setting, the
countdown is displayed on the bottom of the window.

After 10 seconds have passed since
Alarm Off
was pushed, the screen will move to the DSC Task
screen or return to the Main screen.

Ignores the call and returns to the
Main screen.
Hold
:
Puts the RX task on hold and returns
to the Main screen.
Pause
:
Pauses the countdown.
Accept
:
Enters the DSC Task mode
immediately.
Rotate
One of the Emergency Frequencies is automatically
selected. Monitor it because a coast station may
require assistance.
Rotate [CH/GRP] to confirm the call contents.
