7 MENU SCREEN ■ About the Menu screen The Menu screen is constructed in a tree structure and used to set items, select options, and so on for the transceiver's functions. You can go to the next tree level by pushing [ENT], or [►], and go back a level by pushing [CLR], or [◄]. L The displayed menu items may differ, depending on the transceiver version or presetting. To select an item, rotate [CH/GRP], or push [▲] and [▼]. ■ Selecting the item Follow the procedures described below to select a Menu screen. Example: Turning ON the Voice Squelch function. 1. Open "Voice SQL." [MENU] > Radio Settings > Voice SQL Rotate + Push Rotate or Push [▲]/[▼] Rotate + Push 2. Select "On." Rotate + Push • Returns to the Radio Settings screen. 3. About the Menu screen
The Menu screen is constructed in a tree structure
and used to set items, select options, and so on for
the transceiver’s functions.
You can go to the next tree level by pushing [ENT], or
[►], and go back a level by pushing [CLR], or [◄].

To select an item, rotate [CH/GRP], or push [▲] and [▼].

Selecting the item
Follow the procedures described below to select a
Menu screen.
Example: Turning ON the Voice Squelch function.

[MENU] > Radio Settings >
Voice SQL
