Adjusting Density Use the procedure below to adjust the density when scanning the originals. Part that is operated Sending Functions The procedure for adjusting the density is explained below. 1 Press the Send key. 2 Place the originals on the platen or in the document processor. Function Menu: a b *1**C*o*l*o*r**S*e*l*e*c*t*i*o*n**g** 2 Original Size T 3 Original Image T [ Exit ] 3 Press the Function Menu key. Function Menu appears. Density: a b 4 w Lighter -1 *5*y**N*o*r*m*a*l**0********** 6 z Darker +1 4 Press the  or  key to select [Density]. 5 Press the OK key. Density appears. 6 Press the  or  key to select your desired density. 7 Press the OK key. Completed. is displayed and the screen returns to the basic screen for sending. 8 Specify the destination, and press the Start key to start sending. 5-16
