Troubleshooting Symptom Checkpoints Printouts are wrinkled or curled. Cannot print. Is the paper curled, folded or wrinkled? Are there any loose scraps or jammed paper in the machine? Is the paper damp? Is the machine plugged in? Is the machine powered on? Is the printer cable or network cable connected? Was the machine powered on before the printer cable was connected? Is the print job paused? Documents are printed improperly. Cannot print with USB memory. Are the application software settings at the PC set properly? Is the USB host blocked? - When displaying an image sent from the machine on the PC, an image size is shrunk vertically or horizontally. USB memory not recognized. Have you selected 200×100dpi Normal or 200×400dpi Super Fine for the scan resolution? - Is the USB host blocked? Skewed-color printout - Corrective Actions Replace the paper with new paper. Remove any jammed paper. Replace the paper with new paper. Plug the power cord into an AC outlet. Turn on the main power switch. Connect the correct printer cable or network cable securely. Power on the machine after connecting the printer cable. Press [Resume] (the Left Select key) to resume printing. Check that the printer driver and application software settings are set properly. Select [Unblock] in the USB host settings. Check that the USB memory is securely plugged into the machine. Select a scan resolution other than 200×100dpi Normal or 200×400dpi Super Fine when sending an image. Check that the USB memory is securely plugged into the machine. Select [Unblock] in the USB host settings. Conduct color registration using the operation panel. Conduct color calibration using the operation panel.
