Basic Operation Basic Copying Procedures Follow the steps as below for basic copying. 1 Open the main power switch cover and move the main power switch to on (| position). After the copier has warmed up, the Start indicator will turn green. 2 Place the originals in the document processor or on the platen. NOTE: For loading instructions, refer to Loading Originals on page 2-16. 3 Check that [APS] is selected. In this mode, paper that matches the size of the originals will be selected automatically. To change the paper size, press the desired paper size to select the paper source. NOTE: For details on selecting paper manually, refer to Chapter 3 of the Advanced Operation Guide. Follow the steps as below for basic copying.

After the copier has warmed up, the
Start
