Initial Settings Section 23 Initial Settings Switching the sound muting/attenuation Sound from this system is muted or attenuated automatically when the signal from the equipment with mute function is received. ! Sound from this system returns to normal when the muting or attenuation is canceled. % Touch MUTE on the initial menu to select any of the muting, attenuation or off. Touch MUTE until the desired setting appears in the display. ! MUTE - Muting ! ATT -10dB - Attenuation ! ATT -20dB - Attenuation (ATT -20dB has a stronger effect than ATT -10dB) ! OFF - Turn the sound muting/attenuation off Notes ! The sound is turned off, MUTE is displayed and no audio adjustments are possible. ! The sound is attenuated, ATT is displayed and no audio adjustments, except volume control, are possible. ! Operation returns to normal when the phone connection is ended. % Touch DVD DISC AUTO on the initial menu to turn automatic disc playback on. # To turn automatic disc playback off, touch DVD DISC AUTO again. Resetting the audio functions You can reset all audio functions except volume. Important If you perform this operation, audio settings are erased. For this reason, we recommend that you record the settings in the sheet on page 135 after you have completed audio adjustments. 1 Touch AUDIO RESET on the initial menu. 2 Touch RESET. Proceed with reset? appears and asks you to confirm it. 3 Touch RESET again to reset audio functions. Reset completed is displayed and the audio settings are reset. # To cancel resetting the audio functions, touch CANCEL. Switching the automatic disc playback You can turn automatic disc playback on or off when you insert a disc into the disc loading slot. When this function is on, the disc will be automatically played after it is inserted into the disc loading slot. Initially, this function is set to on. Switching the DSP setting mode This unit features two operation modes: the network mode and the standard mode. You can switch between modes as desired. Switching the automatic
disc playback
You can turn automatic disc playback on or off
when you insert a disc into the disc loading
slot. When this function is on, the disc will be
automatically played after it is inserted into
the disc loading slot.
Initially, this function is set to on.

Touch DVD DISC AUTO on the initial
menu to turn automatic disc playback on.

To turn automatic disc playback off, touch
DVD DISC AUTO
again.
Resetting the audio functions
You can reset all audio functions except vo-
lume.
Important
If you perform this operation, audio settings are
erased. For this reason, we recommend that you
record the settings in the sheet on page 135 after
you have completed audio adjustments.
