TV tuner Section 18 TV tuner % When you find a station that you want to store in memory, keep touching one of preset tuning keys P01-P12 until the beep sounds. The next time you touch the same preset tuning key the station is recalled from memory. # To switch between P01-P06 and P07-P12, touch PREV or NEXT. # When P01-P06 and P07-P12 are not displayed, you can display them by touching LIST. Storing the strongest broadcast stations sequentially Notes ! Up to 24 stations, 12 for each of two TV bands, can be stored in memory. ! You can also use a and b to recall stations assigned to preset tuning keys P01-P12 when P01-P12 are not displayed. Confirming current channel and other settings When watching a TV on the rear display, you can display the reception information such as the channel, band and preset channel list. ! Only the remote control can operate this function. To perform this function, switch the remote control operation mode to TV. (Refer to page 21.) % Press DIRECT to display the reception information. Each press of DIRECT displays reception informations in the following order: Current channel information (channel and band)-Preset channel list-Reception informations disappear # Reception informations are displayed for eight seconds. 1 1 Function display Shows the function names. 1 Touch AV MENU and then touch FUNCTION to display the function names. The function names are displayed and operable ones are highlighted. 2 Touch BSSM on the function menu to turn BSSM on. BSSM begins to flash. While BSSM is flashing the 12 strongest broadcast stations will be stored in order from the lowest channel up. When finished, BSSM stops flashing. # To cancel the storage process, touch BSSM again. 3 Touch ESC to return to the TV picture. # To return to the previous display, touch BACK. Note Storing broadcast stations with BSSM may replace broadcast stations you have saved using P01-P12. En 85
