Chapter 7 Wireless LAN Table 25 Network > Wireless LAN > General (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION A-MPDU This field displays only when you select 802.11b/g/n or 802.11n only Aggregation in 2.4G band in the Mode Select field. Channel Width Check this to allow the grouping of several A-MSDUs (Aggregate MAC Service Data Units) into one large A-MPDU (Aggregate MAC Protocol Data Unit). This function allows faster data transfer rates. This field displays only when you select 802.11b/g/n or 802.11n only in 2.4G band in the Mode Select field. A standard 20MHz channel offers transfer speeds of up to 150Mbps whereas a 40MHz channel uses two standard channels and offers speeds of up to 300Mbps. However, not all devices support 40MHz channels. Select the channel bandwidth you want to use for your wireless network. It is recommended that you select 20/40 (20/40 MHz). This allows the ZyXEL Device to adjust the channel bandwidth depending on network conditions. Apply Reset Select 20 MHz if you want to lessen radio interference with other wireless devices in your neighborhood. Click this to save your changes back to the ZyXEL Device. Click this to reload the previous configuration for this screen. 7.3 The Security Screens Use this screen to set up wireless security of your ZyXEL Device.
