Chapter 4 Status Screens Each field is described in the following table. Table 9 Status > Summary > VoIP Status LABEL DESCRIPTION SIP Status Account This column displays each SIP account in the ZyXEL Device. Registration This field displays the current registration status of the SIP account. You can change this in the Status screen. Registering - The SIP account is trying to register with a SIP server. Unregistering - The SIP account is trying to disconnect with a SIP server. Error - The SIP account's attempt to register with a SIP server has failed. Disabled - The SIP account is not active. You can configure this in Section 9.3 on page 139. Registration Time Registered - The SIP account is registered with a SIP server. This field displays the current amount of time that has passed from the first time you successfully registered the SIP account. URI Message Waiting Last Incoming Number Last Outgoing Number Call Status Duration Status It display 0:00:00 if registering failed or the SIP account has never been registered. This field displays the account number and service domain of the SIP account. You can change these in VoIP > SIP > SIP Service Provider. This field indicates whether or not there are any messages waiting for the SIP account. This field is blank if no number has ever dialed the SIP account. This field is blank if the SIP account has never dialed a number. This field displays how long the current call has lasted. This field displays the current state of the phone call. Idle - There are no current VoIP calls, incoming calls or outgoing calls being made. Calling - You made an outgoing VoIP call and the callee's phone is ringing. Ringing - The phone is ringing for an incoming VoIP call. InCall - There is a VoIP call in progress. Codec Peer Number Hold - The VoIP call is on hold and you can make another VoIP call. This field displays what voice codec is being used for a current VoIP call through a phone port. Account
This column displays each SIP account in the ZyXEL Device.
Registration
This field displays the current registration status of the SIP account. You
can change this in the
Status
screen.
Registering
- The SIP account is trying to register with a SIP server.
Unregistering
- The SIP account is trying to disconnect with a SIP
server.
Error
- The SIP account’s attempt to register with a SIP server has
failed.
Disabled
- The SIP account is not active. You can configure this in
Section 9.3 on page 139
.
Registered
- The SIP account is registered with a SIP server.
Registration
Time
This field displays the current amount of time that has passed from the
first time you successfully registered the SIP account.
It display 0:00:00 if registering failed or the SIP account has never
been registered.
URI
This field displays the account number and service domain of the SIP
account. You can change these in
VoIP > SIP > SIP Service
Provider
.
Message
Waiting
This field indicates whether or not there are any messages waiting for
the SIP account.
Last Incoming
Number
This field is blank if no number has ever dialed the SIP account.
Last Outgoing
Number
This field is blank if the SIP account has never dialed a number.
Call Status
Duration
This field displays how long the current call has lasted.
Status
This field displays the current state of the phone call.
Idle
- There are no current VoIP calls, incoming calls or outgoing calls
being made.
Calling
- You made an outgoing VoIP call and the callee’s phone is
ringing.
Ringing
- The phone is ringing for an incoming VoIP call.
InCall
- There is a VoIP call in progress.
Hold
- The VoIP call is on hold and you can make another VoIP call.
Codec
This field displays what voice codec is being used for a current VoIP call
through a phone port.
Peer Number
This field displays the SIP number of the party that is currently engaged
in a VoIP call through a phone port.
