Chapter 20 Logs The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 69 Maintenance > Logs > Log Settings LABEL DESCRIPTION Syslog Logging The ZyXEL Device sends a log to an external syslog server. Active Click Active to enable syslog logging. Syslog Server Enter the server name or IP address of the syslog server that will log the selected categories of logs. UDP Port Enter the port number used by the syslog server. Active Log and Alert Log Select the categories of logs that you want to record. Send Immediate Alert Select log categories for which you want the ZyXEL Device to send E-mail alerts immediately. Apply Click this to save your customized settings and exit this screen. Cancel Click this to return to the previously saved settings. 20.4 Log Descriptions This section provides descriptions of example log messages. Table 70 Call Statistics Logs LOG MESSAGE Start Outgoing Call [SIP Number] rx pkts %d,rx bytes %d,lost pkts %d,avg jitter %d,tx pkts %d,tx bytes %d In Call End [SIP Number],Duration: Seconds Out Call End [SIP Number],Duration: Seconds Incoming Call Established [SIP Number] Outgoing Call Established [SIP Number] DESCRIPTION Someone used a phone to make an outgoing call. Display the RTP packets status. Incoming call from SIP number has terminated. Show the call duration. Outgoing call from SIP number has terminated. Show the call duration.
