The Log Settings Screen

Chapter 20 Logs The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 68 Maintenance > Logs > View Log LABEL DESCRIPTION Display The categories that you select in the Log Settings screen display in the drop-down list box. Level Refresh Clear Log # Time Facility Level Message Select a category of logs to view; select All Logs to view logs from all of the log categories that you selected in the Log Settings page. Select the lowest severity level that you want to view. Click this to renew the log screen. Click this to delete all the logs. This field is a sequential value and is not associated with a specific entry. This field displays the time the log was recorded. The log facility allows you to send logs to different files in the syslog server. Refer to the documentation of your syslog program for more details. This field displays the severity level of the logs that the device is to send to this syslog server. This field states the reason for the log. 20.3 The Log Settings Screen Use the Log Settings screen to configure where the ZyXEL Device sends logs and which logs and/or immediate alerts the ZyXEL Device records.
