Chapter 9 Voice Table 40 VoIP > SIP > SIP Account LABEL DESCRIPTION Active VAD (Voice Active Detector) Select this if the ZyXEL Device should stop transmitting when you are not speaking. This reduces the bandwidth the ZyXEL Device uses. Call Features Message Waiting Indication (MWI) MWI Expire Time This enables your phone to give you a message-waiting (beeping) dial tone when you have a voice message(s). Your VoIP service provider must have a messaging system that sends message waiting status SIP packets as defined in RFC 3842. Enter a value from 30 to 65535 seconds. Enter the number of seconds the message-waiting (beeping) dial tone goes on before it automatically stops the tone. Send Caller ID Active Call Transfer Active Call Waiting Call Waiting Reject Timer Apply Cancel Select this if you want to send identification when you make VoIP phone calls. Clear this if you do not want to send identification. Select this to enable call transfer on the ZyXEL Device. This allows you to transfer an incoming call (that you have answered) to another phone. Select this to enable call waiting on the ZyXEL Device. This allows you to place a call on hold while you answer another incoming call on the same telephone (directory) number. Specify a time of seconds that the ZyXEL Device waits before rejecting the second call if you do not answer it. Click this to save your changes and to apply them to the ZyXEL Device.
