Chapter 12 AP Profile 12.3.2.1 Add/Edit Security Profile This screen allows you to create a new security profile or edit an existing one. To access this screen, click the Add button or select a security profile from the list and click the Edit button. Note: This screen's options change based on the Security Mode selected. Table 57 SSID > Security Profile > Add/Edit Security Profile LABEL DESCRIPTION Profile Name Enter up to 31 alphanumeric characters for the profile name. This name is only visible in the Web Configurator and is only for management purposes. Spaces and underscores are allowed. Security Mode Select a security mode from the list: wep, wpa, wpa2, or wpa2mix. 802.1X Select this to enable 802.1x secure authentication. Radius Server Type Select internal to use the NWA3000-N series AP's internal authentication database, or external to use an external RADIUS server for authentication. Primary / Select this to have the NWA3000-N series AP use the specified Secondary Radius RADIUS server. Server Activate Radius Server Enter the IP address of the RADIUS server to be used for IP Address authentication. Radius Server Enter the port number of the RADIUS server to be used for Port authentication. Radius Server Enter the shared secret password of the RADIUS server to be used for Secret authentication.
