Chapter 15 System 1 Test whether the SSH service is available on the NWA3000-N series AP. Enter "telnet 192.168.1.2 22" at a terminal prompt and press [ENTER]. The computer attempts to connect to port 22 on the NWA3000-N series AP (using the default IP address of 192.168.1.2). A message displays indicating the SSH protocol version supported by the NWA3000-N series AP. Figure 98 SSH Example 2: Test $ telnet 192.168.1.2 22 Trying 192.168.1.2... Connected to 192.168.1.2. Escape character is '^]'. SSH-1.5-1.0.0 2 Enter "ssh -1 192.168.1.2". This command forces your computer to connect to the NWA3000-N series AP using SSH version 1. If this is the first time you are connecting to the NWA3000-N series AP using SSH, a message displays prompting you to save the host information of the NWA3000-N series AP. Type "yes" and press [ENTER]. Then enter the password to log in to the NWA3000-N series AP.
