Chapter 1 Introduction 1.2.1.1 Bridge / Repeater Mode Example In the example below, when both NWA3000-N series APs are in Bridge/Repeater mode, they form a WDS (Wireless Distribution System) allowing the computers in LAN 1 to connect to the computers in LAN 2. Figure 3 Bridging Example Be careful to avoid bridge loops when you enable bridging in the NWA3000-N series AP. Bridge loops cause broadcast traffic to circle the network endlessly, resulting in possible throughput degradation and disruption of communications.
