Storage Manager Drive Failures Drive failures are indicated by flags, which differ depending on whether they refer to an array or a drive in an array. Audible Alarm (SCSI Only) The failure of a RAID drive causes the audible alarm to sound. The alarm stops automatically (after the initial system scan) when you start Storage Manager or SMOR. Storage Manager
Drive Failures
Drive failures are indicated by flags, which differ depending on
whether they refer to an array or a drive in an array. Failure
conditions are indicated as follows:
Audible Alarm (

The failure of a RAID drive causes the audible alarm to sound. The
alarm stops automatically (after the initial system scan) when you
start Storage Manager or SMOR.
To stop an alarm in Storage Manager, click
