DES-30XX Layer 2 Switch CLI Reference Manual show 802.1p user_priority Purpose Used to display the current mapping between an incoming packet's 802.1p priority value and one of the Switch's four hardware priority classes of service. Syntax show 802.1p user_priority Description The show 802.1p user_priority command displays the current mapping of an incoming packet's 802.1p priority value to one of the Switch's four hardware priority classes of service. Parameters None. Restrictions None. Example usage: To show 802.1p user priority: DES-3026:4# show 802.1p user_priority Command: show 802.1p user_priority QOS Class of Traffic Priority-0 -> Priority-1 -> Priority-2 -> Priority-3 -> Priority-4 -> Priority-5 -> Priority-6 -> Priority-7 -> DES-3026:4# config 802.1p default_priority Purpose Used to assign an 802.1p priority tag to an incoming untagged packet that has no 802.1p priority tag. Syntax config 802.1p default_priority [ | all] Description The config 802.1p default_priority command allows specification of the 802.1p priority value an untagged, incoming packet will be assigned before being forwarded to its destination. Parameters − Specifies a port or range of ports to be configured. all − Specifies that the config 802.1p default_priority command will be applied to all ports on the Switch. − Specifies the 802.1p priority value that an untagged, incoming packet will be given before being forwarded to its destination. Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example usage: To configure 802.1p default priority on the Switch: 86
