Toll Save Mode The Toll Save mode can be used to save scanned documents for transmission at a specified time in order to take advantage of lower long distance rates. To turn the Toll Save mode on: 1. Press until "Advanced Fax" appears on the top line of the display. 2. Press the scroll button ( or ) until you see "Toll Save"on the bottom line and press . 3. Press the scroll button ( or ) until "On" displays on the bottom line and press . 4. Press when "Start Time" displays on the bottom line. 5. Enter the time and date when your multi-function printer starts sending toll save faxes, using the number keypad. To select "AM" or "PM" for 12-hour format, press the or the button. 6. Press when the starting time on the display is correct. 7. Press the scroll button ( or ) to display "End Time" and press . 8. Enter the time and date when the toll save transmission ends, using the number keypad. 9. Press to save the setting. 10. To return to Standby mode, press . Press <Menu> until "Advanced Fax" appears on the top line of the display.

Press <Select> when "Start Time" displays on the bottom line.

Enter the time and date when your multi-function printer starts sending toll save faxes, using the
number keypad.

To select "AM

for 12-hour format, press the

button.
Press <Select> when the starting time on the display is correct.

Press the scroll button (

) to display "End Time" and press <Select>.
7.
Enter the time and date when the toll save transmission ends, using the number keypad.

Press <Select> to save the setting.

To return to Standby mode, press <Return>.

Once Toll Save mode is activated, your multi-function printer stores all of the documents to be faxed into its
memory and sends them at the programmed time.
