Holding the release latches, align the hooks on the system with the slots on the drive backplane. b. Lower the backplane into the system until the hooks on the system engage with the slots on the backplane. c. Push the expander board bracket until the release latches on the backplane click into place. d. Tighten the retention screw to secure the expander board to the system. Steps
1.
To install the 2.5-inch (x24) drive backplane:
a.
Holding the release latches, align the hooks on the system with the slots on the drive backplane.
b.
Lower the backplane into the system until the hooks on the system engage with the slots on the backplane.
c.
Push the expander board bracket until the release latches on the backplane click into place.
d.
Tighten the retention screw to secure the expander board to the system.
