Cleaning the Air Filters and Vents

Page 103 highlights

Cleaning the Air Filters and Vents Clean the air filters and air vents after every 100 hours of use. If they are not cleaned periodically, they can become clogged with dust, preventing proper ventilation. This can cause overheating and damage the projector. Follow these steps: 1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. 2. To clean the intake vents, Epson recommends using a small vacuum cleaner designed for computers and other office equipment. If you don't have one, gently clean the vents with a soft brush (such as an artist's paintbrush). 3. Gently turn the projector over and remove the filters from the side and bottom of the projector. Then use a small vacuum cleaner or soft brush to clean the filters. Slide the filters back into place when you're done. Maintaining the Projector 103
