6 Click Continuous Update to activate the live preview feature. The image you see is updated every 8 to 10 seconds, depending on your connection speed. You may need to move the camera or your subject until you see the image you want to capture. 7 When your shot is ready, click Take Picture. The image is captured and processed. 8 Click Close when you're finished taking pictures from your computer. The colors in your live preview image may appear pale NOTE and washed-out. This will not affect the colors in your actual photograph. The live preview feature quickly drains your batteries. Make sure you turn it off as soon as you're finished, or use the optional AC 6 adapter. You can click the Flash and Resolution buttons on the screen to adjust these settings just as you would by using the buttons on the camera. For more information, see Chapter 1. Using the Self Timer You can use this feature to have your computer take a picture automatically, after a delay period that you can set. This NOTE allows you to take self-portraits and other specialized shots. When the camera is connected to your computer, you can't use any of the control buttons or the shutter button on the camera. The colors in your live preview image may appear pale
