68 Keyboard Copying and pasting text You can copy or cut text and then paste it in another text field within the app or in another app. Some apps may offer their own way of selecting or copying text. 1. Press and hold the text field that contains the text you want to copy. 2. When the magnifier appears, drag your finger t�o��m��o��v�e��th��e��te��x�t�c�u��r�s�o�r�t�o��t�h�e� beginning of the text you want to copy or cut.��It�'�s�e��a�s�y��s���i�n��c��e�t�h��e��m����a��g���n��i��f�i�e���r���g��i�v�e�s� you a bigger view of the text. 3. After you've positioned the text cursor, lift your finger. The text selection menu pops up. 4. Do one of the following: Tap Select text. When the word where you've placed the text cursor is highlighted, drag the start and end markers to select the text you want to copy or cut. Tap Select all to select everything in the text field. 5. Tap Copy to copy the text to the clipboard, or tap Cut to delete the text. 6. On the same app or in another app, press and hold a text field where you want to paste the text. 7. When the magnifier appears, drag your finger t�o��m��o�v�e��t�h�e��t�e�x�t�c��u�r�s�o�r�w��h�e�r�e��y�o�u� want to paste the text. 8. After you've positioned the text cursor, lift your finger. The text selection menu pops up. 9. Tap Paste.
