Printing Menu The Printing Menu is used to set default settings for a specific print job. Menu Item COPIES ORIENTATION FORM LENGTH DUPLEX1 BINDING2 PCL FONT SOURCE PCL FONT NUMBER PCL FONT PITCH3 PCL FONT POINT SIZE4 PCL SYMBOL SET Values 1 to 999 (default:1) PORTRAIT* LANDSCAPE 5 to 128 lines (default: 60) OFF* ON LONG EDGE* SHORT EDGE INTERNAL* SOFT SLOT n (n = 1,2,3) 0 to 999 (default: 0) 0.44 to 99.99 (default: 10) 4 to 999.75 (default: 12) PC-8 (default) COURIER APPEND CR TO LF REGULAR* DARK NO* YES Description Number of copies. Determines the default page orientation. Maximum lines on a page before a formfeed occurs. Enables two-sided printing. Prints pages for specified binding type. Instructs the printer where to look for PCL fonts. Specifies a default PCL font number. Specifies a default pitch for PCL fonts. Specifies a default font size for PCL fonts. Used to select an appropriate symbol set. See the appendix on PCL commands. Dark Courier was used in older LaserJet printers. Appends a carriage return to each line feed character in the data stream.
