The LEDs on the MSA and all connected hard drives are no longer blinking because the host-based application is no longer identifying or configuring this MSA. The temperature sensor on the array controller indicates that the temperature that was previously exceeding the normal operating range is now back within the range. The temperature sensor on the array controller indicates that the array controller is starting to exceed the normal operating range. Check all MSA fans and ensure they are operating. Any failed fan should be replaced. Ensure that there is a module or blanking panel (cover plate) in all MSA chassis bays and slots. Empty bays affect the airflow and cooling ability of the MSA. The temperature sensor on the array controller indicates that the array controller has exceeded the safe operating range. The MSA should be powered off as soon as possible to avoid hardware failure.
