4 Troubleshooting Your PC Recovering from a BIOS Update Failure 6 While pressing CTRL + HOME switch on the PC. BootBlock loads the ROM file AMIBOOT.ROM from the floppy disk and flashes the BIOS. This takes several minutes. When the flashing is complete, the PC reboots automatically. 7 Shut down the PC and disconnect the PC's power cord. 8 Remove the cover and set switches 5 and 6 back to the Off position. 9 Replace the cover, reconnect all power cords and cables, remove the floppy disk from the floppy disk drive, and switch on the PC. While pressing
