Removal and Replacement Procedures- Microtower Type 2 Chassis 6.12 Chassis Fan ✎ This chassis fan is only used on the d240 and d248 model computers. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 6.1, "Preparation for Disassembly"). 2. Remove the right access panel (Section 6.2, "Access Panel"). 3. Lay the computer down on its side to make it easier to work on. 4. Disconnect the electrical lead that connects the chassis fan to the system board. 5. Hold the fan in place while pushing the four plastic push pins from the inside of the chassis to release them then, pull the pins from the outside of the chassis to remove the speaker. 6.12 Chassis Fan
This chassis fan is only used on the d240 and d248 model computers.
