If set to Automatic, the client uses DHCP to attempt to retrieve network settings. If set to Static, the values of the Address, SubnetMask, and DefaultGateway registry keys are used. HP does not recommend using Static in a generic client profile, because all clients would use the same IP address. Sets the subnet mask of the device, such as 255.255.255.0 (for a standard class C subnet). This setting takes effect only if Method is set to Static. Sets the IPv6 address of the client. This setting takes effect only if Method is set to Static. Sets the default gateway that the device uses to communicate with the Internet. Typically, this is the IP address of the router.
