Hard Reset ("Cycle Power") Controller Board Status LEDs At Power Up At power up printer software turns on the amber status LED at the rear of the card cage. (Figure 10.) If a hardware problem is detected at power up the amber LED will blink continuously. At power up printer hardware also turns on the green LED. (See Figure 10.) If a problem is detected with the software stored in the printer's flash memory both the amber and green LEDs will blink alternately. Under normal conditions, both LEDs remain on continuously.
